Buckeye is one of the largest cities in Arizona by land area, and its communities are genuinely different: a walkable new-urbanism town at the mountain's foot, three distinct 55+ communities, and fast-growing master plans on the east side. These notes describe each one plainly, so a first visit and a moving decision can both start from the same honest map.
Communities still taking shape
Festival Foothills, Regent Hills, Douglas Ranch, Sun Valley, and the emerging Teravalis master plan are all part of Buckeye's growth story, and 2026 added more: the all-rental Coyote Crest community and the newly approved Monte Verde homes. We are holding the pages open and will add notes as they fill in with streets, parks, and residents.
